GLOBAL OPPORTUNITIES (unless specified in the description)

Atomic Grants - Atomic Grants are available to those who identify as a woman, and who are 21+. You can live anywhere in the world - as long as you have a way to receive the money digitally, and you are connected via email and social media. Grant for $1,500. Next due date is 5/31/22.

Giving Joy Microgrant - Available to women 18 and older, you can use the grant to start a new business, or expand your existing business. You can also use the grant to start or expand a nonprofit, non-governmental organization (NGO), charity, or propose a specific activity or project you would like to implement. Grant for $500. Apply by 6/30/2022.

Health Wildcatters Accelerator Program – Accelerator for companies focused on issues affecting affordability, access, early treatment, and prevention for disease areas in vulnerable and low-income communities, domestically and/or internationally. Opportunity for $30,000 in return for eight percent equity of company. Applications due 5/31/22.

Microsoft for Startups Challenge - Global program supported by a team of startup veterans and industry experts. You must be engaged in development of a software-based product or service that will form a core piece of your current or intended business – this software must be owned, not licensed. (Your headquarters must reside in the countries covered by Azure global infrastructure.). Opportunity for up to $150,000 in free Azure credits. Apply by 5/25/22

Roddenberry Catalyst Fund - The Catalyst Fund is offering grants to Nonprofits & Social Enterprises to fund ideas or early-stage projects that have a high potential for large-scale impact and sustainable change. You can be a seasoned social entrepreneur or a first-time changemaker. Eligible candidates for the Catalyst Fund may be individuals, teams of individuals, non-profit organizations, or social enterprises. Grants for up to $15,000.

Techstars Accelerators - Techstars accelerators have one goal: to help entrepreneurs succeed. During each three-month program, they surround companies with the best mentors and an unrivaled network of corporate partners, investors, and alumni. Companies can receive $20K for 6% of company. Various locations and due dates -

Visa Creator Program - One-year immersion program geared towards entrepreneurs working in art, music, fashion and film looking to accelerate their small business through NFTs. Applications due by 5/11/2022.


Africa Prize for Engineering Innovation - The lead applicant must be a citizen of a country in sub-Saharan Africa. Applicants must have developed, or be in the process of developing, a new technological innovation. Applicants should have the ambition to take a leading role in creating a new business to commercialise this innovation. Grants for up to £25,000. Apply by 7/19/22 -

Grindstone incubator - Must be based in South Africa - incubator will include training, corporate advisory, coaching, mentorship and funding. Specific interventions for each company include a structured gap analysis, understanding of the company value system, building a digital go-to-market strategy, financial modelling, intellectual property assessment, strategic and financial valuation as well as populating a data room.

WIA54 - WIA is committed to supporting African women entrepreneurs. Application is 2-step process. WIA team will get back to the pre-selected candidates after step 1. Grant for 5,000-10,000 Euros. Apply by 5/31/22.


Small Business Northern flood grant - If your small business or not-for-profit organisation in northern NSW was impacted by storms and floods in February and March 2022, you may be eligible for a one-off $10,000 small business northern flood grant. Apply by 7/31/22 -


Boost Your Business Technology - Grant for up to $15,000 offers support to Canadian-owned small and medium sized enterprises (SMEs) who want to adopt new digital technologies.

Cassels Black-Owned Small Business Grant - Business must be Black-owned, with less than 50 employees and located in the city of Vancouver (or have impact on the city of Vancouver). Apply by 5/27/22 -

Founders Fund - Founders Fund is a founder led and built community supporting diverse women founders during every stage of their entrepreneurial journey. For Canadian businesses. Grants for $7,000. Apply by 5/16/22 -

Ontario-based Small Business Resource guide - The 5-page guide lists currently available Federal and Provincial funding and support programs aimed to assist small business owners. It can be downloaded via the link-

Purolator Small Business Grants - Small businesses that are based in Canada, legally licensed or registered to operate in Canada, and in good financial standing (no petition in bankruptcy or insolvency) are eligible for nomination. Grants for $20,000. Apply by 5/31/22 -

Racialized and Indigenous Supports for Entrepreneurs (RAISE) - R.A.I.S.E. is a program focused on assisting Indigenous, Black and other racialized entrepreneurs to start and scale their business. The program will provide coaching, mentorship, advisory services and grants to entrepreneurs looking to increase their capacity and scale their business. Grants for $10,000.

Strategic Innovation Fund - Strategic Innovation Fund (SIF) provides financial support to projects that will improve Canada's innovation performance while providing economic, innovation and public benefits to Canadians.. Must be a for-profit corporation or non-profit (depending on application) in Canada and be requesting a minimum govt contribution of $10 million for a proposal with total costs of at least $20 million.


Chick-Fil-A True Inspiration Awards Grant - Must be either a 501(c)(3) based in the U.S. or a Canadian charitable organization. Grants for $30,000 to $350,000. Apply by 5/20/2022.

Dear God Are We There Yet? - Community social good activists in US and Canada are encouraged to apply (including Teachers, Students, Entrepreneurs, Small Business Owners, and Community Members). Additional grants for Hispanic women. Grants are $100-$500 and awarded quarterly.

Jobber Grants For Home Service Businesses - Any home service business owner or aspiring business owner 18 years old or older, residing in the U.S. and Canada, excluding Québec is eligible to apply for a grant from $2500-$15,000. Apply by 5/26/22.


South East Business Boost (SEBB) Grants - South East Business Boost (SEBB) Grants of up to £10,000 are available to small to medium sized businesses in East Sussex. Apply by 8/1/22 -


48 in 48 Website Build Hackathon - Social Justice Event - The event is designed to support and promote nonprofits in marketing and technology. They are gathering teams to build websites for nonprofits with social justice missions. If you are interested in either being part of a team or are a nonprofit looking for free website development check the website by June 3, 2022 -

AgLaunch Accelerators - AgLaunch programs are designed for entrepreneurs who are early in their business formation and who have not raised funding from outside dilutive sources. Companies should be in the ag or ag tech space. Apply by 5/31/22 -

Amazon's Black Business Accelerator - Dedicated to helping build sustainable equity and growth for Black entrepreneurs by enabling their success as sellers. Grow your business with access to financial support, strategic business guidance and mentorship, and marketing and promotional support.

AT&T Black Future Maker - Black Future Makers are dedicated individuals pursuing greater possibilities for the greater good. Submit a video of 30-60 seconds, or photo, on your Instagram feed explaining how you are pursuing greater possibilities for you and the community. Grants for $10,000. Apply by 12/31/22 -

AWS Impact Accelerator for Black Founders - Designed for U.S.-based Black founders who are the CEO and/or CTO of an innovative tech or tech-enabled startup. Should be pre-seed startups with a solution already built and underway. The program is industry and vertical agnostic, and welcomes both technical and non-technical founders who are leveraging cloud technologies or plan to. Apply by 5/13/22 -

Black Girl Ventures (BGV) Fall 2022 Pitch Program - If you're a Black/Brown woman-identifying founder in Austin, Chicago, Detroit, Houston, Los Angeles, or Miami, you can apply by 7/1/22 -

Bronze Valley Accelerator - Bronze Valley Accelerator works with venture-bankable startups led by female entrepreneurs and entrepreneurs of color with a preference for those located in Alabama. Participants can be innovating in any industry vertical. Apply by 5/27/22 -

Colocation America STEM Innovation Grant – This STEM Innovation Grant was created to fund programs that inspire and encourage Pre-K-12 students to pursue their interest and curiosity in STEM. Open to nonprofits and school districts and awards up to $7500. Apply by 5/13/2022.

Comcast RISE - Marketing and Tech Support and Investment Fund - There are separate applications for the marketing and technology services awards and the Comcast RISE Investment Fund. Eligible business owners may apply for either, or both programs. (Note: We have had several students in the program win these awards!) Apply by 6/17/22

Dollar General Youth Literacy Grant – For Schools, public libraries, and nonprofit organizations who help students that are below grade level or having trouble reading are eligible to apply. Grant for $4,000. Apply by 5/19/2022.

Dream Big Awards - Must be a for-profit business operating for at least one (1) year primarily within the United States with less than 250 employees OR gross revenues of less than $20 million for each of 2021 and 2022. Grant for $25,000. Apply by 7/8/2022.

Driving Small Business Forward - Ten $25,000 grants will be awarded to Hispanic Small Businesses to use towards the purchase of a commercial vehicle. Apply by 6/17/22 -

E for All Accelerator Program - The E for All Accelerator Program is a free, one-year program offered twice a year in each of their communities (see link for locations). Anyone with a dream to start or grow a business or nonprofit are encouraged to apply. Apply by 5/12/22 -

eBay Up and Running Grant - Business sellers will be asked to share details of their small business and how they plan to use the grant to accelerate their growth. eBay is looking to identify sellers who represent a diverse range of backgrounds, bring their unique experiences and inventory to the marketplace, and are committed to their communities and the eBay ecosystem. Grants for $10,000. Apply by 6/10/22

EmPOWERED to Serve Accelerator - The EmPOWERED to Serve Business Accelerator in coordination with the American Heart Association is looking for a diverse pool of social entrepreneurs and organizations who are driving change through health justice in their communities. Applications will be accepted from social and health tech entrepreneurs, non-profits and for-profits making a health impact. Apply by 6/3/22 -

Excelerate America Pitch Competition - Excelerate America is partnering with Dell Technologies on a new pitch competition. 8 finalists will share their stories and virtually pitch to a panel of judges and the Collective on Thursday, June 16th, 2022. Grants for up to $20,000. Apply by 5/20/22 -

Fearless Strivers - Open to black women who are legal U.S. residents (including DC), 18+ and the principal owner of a U.S.-based small business. Grants for $10,000. Apply by 12/31/22.

Finnovation Fellowship - Fellowship program helps build leadership and entrepreneurial skills in early-stage social entrepreneurs. Must be US resident - FINN Fellowship requires you to be located in the Twin Cities area during the program term so you can work out of the FINNOVATION Lab space in downtown Minneapolis. Receive a $50,000 stipend. Apply by 5/15/22 -

Global Citizen Collective Entrepreneur Grant - Designed for current business owners who have been in operation for 2 years or less. In keeping with the spirit of global citizenship each recipient's business must be a source of enrichment and support for their community. Grant for $1,000. Apply by 6/1/22 -

GoFundMe Small Business Relief Initiative - GoFundMe will issue $500 matching grants to qualifying businesses that raise at least $500 on GoFundMe.

Healthy Rich Microgrant for Financial Writers - Healthy Rich is a personal finance website. They are looking for your money stories. They want pitches on different topics related to personal finance. They pay $200 per article (usually 1,000 to 1,500 words). Different application deadlines in May -

Hello Alice Small Business Grants - Hello Alice is continuing the Year of Small Business celebration by awarding 50 small business owners with $5,000 grants. Apply by 5/20/22 -

HerRise Micro-Grant - Each month a $500 micro-grant will be awarded to a for-profit small business owned by women of color. Past recipients used their growth grants for computers, equipment, marketing materials, software purchase, website creation and more.

HomeTeam Advantage Small Business Contest with Mastercard - Small business owners in Atlanta, Boston, Los Angeles, and New York City can enter for chance to pitch for $10,000 prize. Apply by 5/15/22 -

Juntos Crecemos Hispanic Digital & Delivery Program - PepsiCo is inviting Latina entrepreneurs who work in food service to apply for eight weeks of personalized expert consultation, including best practices across operations, technology, marketing and digital presence.

Justworks Grant for Nonprofits - Supporting incubators and other non-profit organizations that help underrepresented founders access the fundamentals of entrepreneurship. Grants for $50,000. Apply by 5/27/22 -

Kapitus Building Resilient Businesses Grant - Create an original video, no more than 2 minutes in length, telling your small business story and how $100,000 can help you continue to write that story. Not for businesses based in CO or VT. Apply by 6/30/22 -

Luce Indigenous Knowledge Fellowship - Fellowships to 10 outstanding Native knowledge holders and knowledge makers engaged in meaningful work that benefits Indigenous people and communities. The fellowship is a two-year, self-directed enrichment program designed to support the process of growth, development, knowledge and networks of Native leaders and thinkers. The fellowships supports the work of Native knowledge holders and knowledge makers as they significantly advance their work and spark transformative change in their communities. Grants for $75,000. Apply by 5/26/22 -

McBride Sisters SHE CAN Fund in Food and Wine - SHE CAN Fund invests in the professional advancement and career growth of high-potential, professional women, with a particular focus on women of color. Mission is to close the gender and race gap in leadership positions in wine & spirits, hospitality, and finance industries by providing professional development -

National Black Business Pitch competition - The National Black Business Pitch (NBBP) is a competition designed to connect Black-owned businesses to corporations who seek to expand and diversify their supply chain with new products and services. Winner receives $10,000. Apply by 5/23/22 -

Pathways to Black Franchise Ownership - Organization that vets, trains, and partners with individuals from underserved communities to own and operate competitive businesses. They strive to remove barriers to Black ownership entry and accelerate ownership outcomes for those seeking new opportunities to own, manage and expand their careers through foodservice franchisee ownership.

Plaid Accelerate - Plaid Accelerate is a fintech accelerator program supporting early-stage fintech founders who are Black, Indigenous, or People of Color. Apply by 5/31/22 -

Pure Leaf "No" Grants - "No" grants (grants are $2000 and open to US residents - concept is that women have to say "yes" to so much - what would an additional $2K enable you to say "no" to?) Winners receive the $ and access to a support community and resources through SeekHer's Community Care Program. Apply by 5/31/2022.

Restaurant Disaster Relief Grant - DoorDash has partnered with Hello Alice to create the Restaurant Disaster Relief Fund. The fund supports restaurants impacted by natural disasters like fires, floods and hurricanes with grants up to $10,000. Apply by 6/30/22 -

Restaurant Giving Grant - The grant for up to $120,000 is awarded to one tax-exempt 501(c)(3) charitable organization and can be used to support infrastructure, capital improvement and capital expenditures and/or salary. Apply by 6/1/2022.

SeedInvest Pitch Competition - Apply for the virtual pitch competition for historically underrepresented founders. Six finalists pitch an all-star group of judges for up to $25,000. Apply by 5/20/22

Taco Bell Ambition Accelerator - Must be over 16 and under 26 years of age and resident of the US. Looking for innovative and creative ideas at all stages of development, which means it can be a new idea, or a fully baked one. Grants for up to $10,000. Apply by 6/1/22 -

Truist NonProfit Grant - The Truist Foundation supports nonprofits with grants that target leadership development, economic mobility, thriving communities and educational equity. Quarterly deadlines -

UnderFUNDED Spring 2022 - Grant for $5000 for one deserving Black female small business owner.

Visible Hands - 14-week, virtual-first accelerator will give you the opportunity to work alongside a cohort of exceptional underrepresented founders to build or scale your venture-backed startup. Preference given to women, non-binary and trans people, and Black, Latinx, and Indigenous American people. Apply by 5/13/22 -

Watson Accelerator - The Watson Accelerator is a hybrid program designed for impact-driven entrepreneurs seeking to elevate their ventures with access to a global network, training designed to strengthen skills, and mentorship with seasoned professionals, venture capitalists, and enterprise executives. Through this 18-week program (3 weeks in Boulder, CO and 14 weeks virtual), fellows will engage in courses in areas such as leadership development and applying practical entrepreneurial skills to their ventures alongside a global community of like-minded changemakers. Funding up to $17,500. Apply by 6/1/22 -

Wish Local Empowerment Program - You must be a Black-owned business with a brick-and-mortar shop within the United States and less than 20 employees. If selected for the program, you must join Wish Local (which is free). Grants for up to $2000 -

You Glow Girl Women Entrepreneur Grant – Grant for $10,000 is open to all women entrepreneurs in the US. Apply by July 1. Top 25 will be announced for round 2 on July 8. Top 10 will be announced for round 3 on August 1. Winner announced mid-August.




  • Advanced Industries Export Grant - Helps Colorado-based advanced industries technology businesses who want to export or are currently exporting. This grant is for small- and medium-sized businesses for up to $15,000.

  • Colorado Community Revitalization Grant - Provides gap funding for projects in creative districts, historic districts, main streets or neighborhood commercial centers. This grant will support creative projects that combine creative industry workforce housing, commercial spaces, performance space, community gathering spaces, child care centers, and retail partnerships for the purpose of economic recovery and diversification. Up to $5MM in funding available.

  • Energize Colorado - Targets small businesses across four communities: East Colfax, Pueblo, Southwest Denver, and the Child Care Industry. Includes funding readiness workshops, low-interest Gap Fund loans up to $20k, and an accelerator program valued at $1,200. -

District of Columbia (Washington DC)

  • Inclusive Innovation Equity Impact Fund - Supports DC-based equity impact enterprises or businesses eligible to be equity impact enterprises with training and investment in the form of revenue or equity-based financing. To be eligible, the applicant must certify in writing that the business is unable to obtain conventional financing or is a business enterprise that cannot reasonably be expected to qualify for financing under the standards of commercial lending. Apply by 6/1/22 -

  • Small Medium Business Growth Fund - Grants aimed to retain and expand DC-based small businesses by supporting large scale capital improvements, large equipment purchasing, and technological advancements within retail, professional services, industrial-based businesses and manufacturing industries.Apply by 5/27/22 -


  • Axis Helps Miami Small Business Grant - Axis Helps connects Miami-Dade residents and small business owners to the resources to overcome today’s challenges, and emerge with stability and strength. Must be for-profit business that has generated over $25,000 in revenue since January 1, 2020. Grants for $5,000. Apply by 5/20/22 -

  • St. Pete Beach Business Site Improvement Program - Must be physically located within a commercial zone within the City of St. Pete Beach. Grants up to $7500. Apply by 5/13/22 -




  • Gurnee, IL Small Business Grant - The village of Gurnee, Illinois launched a small business grant program last month. Grants can be used to improve business facilities and each business must provide at least half of the capital (match) for each project. Grants up to $10,000 -

  • Illinois Restaurant Foundation - Grants for restaurant workers facing hardships. Grants cover living expenses after life-altering events like accident, illness, or death of a close family member. These are for individuals rather than businesses.$250 to $1500. Apply by 8/31/22 -

  • Peoria RISE Small Business Grant - The program is called RISE - Recovery, Income, Startup, Expansion - and it’s intended to provide financial assistance to Peoria based businesses that were distressed by the impacts of COVID-19. Grants up to $50,000 Apply by 6/10/22 -

  • Small Business Improvement Fund – Chicago - Grants for permanent building improvements and repairs. Chicago’s Department of Planning and Development facilitates the program. Local businesses can apply for grants that cover between 30 percent and 90 percent of their remodeling or building costs. Up to $250,000. Different application deadlines based on location in Chicago. -




  • InnovateMass Clean Energy Grant - Applicant teams must include at least one Clean Energy Company with proprietary technology who will serve as the “Lead Applicant”. The Lead Applicant must meet the definition of a small business - but does not have to be a Massachusetts-based company. If the Lead Applicant is not a Massachusetts-based company, then at least one project site must be in MA. Grants for $250,000. Apply by 6/1/2022.

  • New Bedford, MA - Various grant opportunities for small business and non-profts located in New Bedford, MA. First deadline is mid-May -

  • Taunton STEP Up program - The Sales Technology & Efficiency Professional Upgrade Program (STEP UP) program was designed to assist small businesses with critical upgrades to their digital technology and cyber presence, so that they can better meet the challenges presented by the COVID-19 pandemic. Grants are open to all businesses with a physical location in Taunton, MA who have less than 10 employees -


  • Comerica Hatch Detroit Contest - Only permanent, brick and mortar retail locations will be considered - residency in Detroit area is not required but is preferred. Grants up to $100,000. Apply by 5/12/22 -

  • Kalamazoo Small Business Grants - Program is designed to bring relief to Kalamazoo businesses in need of support. BIPOC (Black, Indigenous and People of Color) and women-owned businesses, as well as those located within Shared Prosperity Kalamazoo neighborhoods, are highly encouraged to apply. Grants for $5,000. Apply by 5/13/2022.


  • SQ1 Ignite - SQ1 Ignite is a 4-week program created to help founders in the St. Louis area quick-start their business model validation process. $35 processing fee. Applications rolling thru May 2022 -


  • Nevada Arts Grants - Nevada Arts Council will award grants to individual artists throughout Nevada to support the production and presentation of artistic projects across all disciplines and help artists rebuild after the impacts of COVID-19. Examples of eligible projects include art exhibitions, performances, readings, concerts, the creation of art, and portfolio creation. Virtual/online projects are also eligible. Grants for $1,000. Apply by 6/30/22 -

  • Manchester Small Business Grant and Program Assistance - Support small businesses based in Manchester, NH with fixed business costs, including rent, utilities, and payroll, accrued during the pandemic, costs associated with transitioning to e-commerce business platforms, outdoor space upgrades, and other technical assistance needs. Grants up to $10,000 -

New Jersey

New York

  • Lockport, NY Small Business Restoration Fund - Grants may be used towards most business expenses including, but not limited to, financing fixed assets, operating expenses, and permanent working capital. Eligible businesses are those that have between six and 25 employees and have a brick-and-mortar location within the city. Grants up to $50,000. Apply by 5/20/22 -

  • NY State Pandemic Small Business Recovery Grant - Small Business Recovery Grant Program was created to provide flexible grant assistance to currently viable small businesses, micro-businesses and for-profit independent arts and cultural organizations in the State of New York who have experienced economic hardship due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Grants from $5,000 to $50,000 -

  • NYXL's Young Creator Project - NYXL is looking for ten elite creators (gamers, streamers, artists, musicians, filmmakers, animators, etc). Must be over 16 and based in NYC. Grants of $50,000. Apply by 5/19/22 -

  • Rockland County Grants - Grant opportunities for restaurants and small businesses located in Rockland County up to $25,000 -

  • Syracuse Retail Incubator Program - Utilizing an award from The Central New York Community Foundation’s Black Equity & Excellence Fund, Ecodessa will identify & train entrepreneurs who collaborate with the Downtown Syracuse Foundation to secure a 3 month Popup shop location in Downtown Syracuse. Entrepreneurs will be eligible to receive a grant amount of up to $5,000 to fund expenses associated with their Popup shop. -

North Carolina



  • Judith Ann Mogan Foundation Grant - Non-profits and publicly funded organizations with projects that benefit Coos, Curry, and Coastal Douglas County communities can submit a Letter of Inquiry. Projects should address priority areas including: Children & Youth Development, Forestry & Wood Products Support & Research, Enhancing Community Health Services, Poverty Alleviation, Business & Economic Development, Convening & Gathering Places, Arts & Culture, and/or Healthy & Productive Environment.   • JVS Philadelphia Fund for Women - JVS Philadelphia Fund for Women is designed to provide capital and to coach women-owned enterprises with strong growth potential in Greater Philadelphia. Grants up to $50,000. Apply quarterly -

  • Pennovation Summer Accelerator - Accelerator is open to all companies that are in the Philadelphia region. Weekly sessions will take place in person at the Pennovation Center in Philadelphia. Funding up to $5000. Apply by 5/13/22 -

  • NEXT Awards - Nashville Entrepreneurship Center - For entrepreneurs in Middle Tennessee who are transforming industries and making our world better. Company must be headquartered in Middle Tennessee and fall in one of the industry categories. Apply by 6/13/22 -

  • TVFCU Idea Leap Grant - The Contest is only open to legal residents/business enterprises of the TVFCU’s13-county community who at the time of entry are independent owners/operators of a for-profit small business that is domiciled in TVFCU’s13-county community. Grants up to $50,000. Apply by 6/3/22 -


  • Center for Women Entrepreneurs at Texas Women's Univ - Supports women veterans in Texas who own their own businesses or are interested in launching one. Grants for $5,000. Apply by 5/27/22 -

  • Fort Bend TX Small Business Grant - To qualify, you must be a Fort Bend business that has been operational since December 30, 2019 and prove a revenue decline of at least 25 percent from 2019 to 2020. Grants for $5000-$25,000 -

  • Killeen Small Business Grant Assistance Program - Small businesses located in Killeen can request up to $10,000 to mitigate financial hardships occurring because of the coronavirus pandemic. Must have 50 or fewer employees.

  • Lubbock Small Business Grants - Business must be located in Lubbock, TX and employ less than 100 people. Apply by 5/15/2022.

  • Pflugerville Cares Business Grant - Business must be for-profit business in City of Pflugerville city limits. Grants up to $75,000. Applications open 5/15/22 -


Washington (state)

  • Small Business Flex Fund - For businesses in Washington State - loans for up to $150,000 are available for profits and not-for-profits. Loans have 3% – 4% interest rates, no fees & interest-only payments for the first year. 60-month loan terms
