Strategic Innovation Fund - Strategic Innovation Fund (SIF) provides financial support to projects that will improve Canada's innovation performance while providing economic, innovation and public benefits to Canadians.   • Colorado Community Revitalization Grant - Provides gap funding for projects in creative districts, historic districts, main streets or neighborhood commercial centers.   • EmPOWER Grant - Organizations may apply for a grant of up to $5,000, which may cover up to 100% of eligible energy efficiency projects. Must be non-profit or small business and a commercial rate schedule account holder of an electric utility on the island of Hawaiʻi, Lānaʻi, Maui, Molokaʻi or Oʻahu where the electricity-saving energy efficiency measure is being installed.   • Aurora, IL Business Grants - Finish Line Grant program assists property owners and tenants in the completion of rehabilitation projects that will enhance the economic viability of downtown Aurora. Re-Start Retention Grant program was established to assist small businesses located in the City of Aurora with business expenses and operational expenses to prevent business closures and the loss of jobs as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic.   • Gurnee, IL Small Business Grant - The village of Gurnee, Illinois launched a small business grant program last month. Grants can be used to improve business facilities and each business must provide at least half of the capital (match) for each project.   • Small Business Improvement Fund – Chicago - Grants for permanent building improvements and repairs. Chicago’s Department of Planning and Development facilitates the program. Local businesses can apply for grants that cover between 30 percent and 90 percent of their remodeling or building costs. Funding up to $250,000.   • Maryland Economic Adjustment Fund - This is an evolving loan fund, which supports small businesses that don’t qualify for traditional loans or financing.   • Maryland Manufacturing 4.0 grant program - Grants would be focused on installing new robotic or automated equipment, using IoT technologies, including floor data sensors and smart warehouse systems.
